2007 Nissan Altima 2.5s, 6 speed manual, original adult owner/excellent condition with 79k miles. Just fully serviced and inspected, needs nothing. 17" OEM wheels from the 3.5 coupe were installed when new. Still have the original 16" steel wheels/tires/covers that would be great for winter. Trailer hitch/wiring was just professionally installed last month and only used once to tow a light weight motorcycle trailer less than 20 miles. (973) 67o-70ate6. Thanks! In addition to crisper styling, it is now 2.5 inches shorter overall, although interior dimensions are nearly the same. And what an interior: upscale fabric seats that are grippy without looking cheesy and malleable textures wherever a finger or forearm might alight. The rear seat bottom is low, but two adults can comfortably abide back there for an hour. Equally commodious is the 18-cubic-foot trunk. In truth, what you notice first about the base Altima is that it's a peaceful place to conduct business. The 175-horse 2.5-liter four hums serenely, tire thrum is distant, and the rush of wind goes unnoticed. At idle and at wide-open throttle, the cockpit is nearly as quiet as that other exemplar of solitude, the Toyota Camry. Vibration, too, is at such low levels that your passengers will assume you opted for the V-6. The manual transmission is light and intuitive, although it doesn't offer the rifle-bolt action of, say, a 3-series BMW's. And the base suspension is tuned to quell potholes, at the expense of lateral grip. This is nonetheless an attractive and refined sedan on a gratifyingly solid platform. It is agile in traffic and is your ergonomic pal when that traffic stops moving.
