Here is a nicely restored 1968 Mustang Convertible that is PAinspected and ready for summer fun! It was owned by a Doctor, and he had his mechanic looking after it, and always keeping it in top shape. It is in excellent mechanical condition. The driveline is all original and rebuilt to stock specs. It has Power Steering, Power Brakes,and Power Top. Miles are original at 98k. This car is really fun to drive and would make a reliable weekend cruiser. I would drive it anywhere with confidence. Our reserve is set at a level that represents an excellent value for 1968 Mustang convertible, way under the $25k these are bringing at auctions these days. I will sell it to you prior to the auction ending if you desire this. Body: -Frame rails are totally solid, as are the rockers and pinch welds (see Pics). The floors were undercoated and are solid. Front pans were replaced. No sagging evident in the chassis. -Paint was redone many years ago in the original Metallic Turquoise lacquer. The front clip was more recently repainted and is very nice. The doors, quarters, and trunk lid all have some cracks in the paint due to aging. You only notice this from inside 5 feet. Please see the pictures. As a driver, it looks great on the road, and I would just have fun with it as-is. Paint these parts and the value would rise, your choice. I am not representing this as a show car, just a nice driver.Please don’t buy it and complain about the paint. Call me for further dialog if needed. -Restored with original sheet metal, no bondo. The front floor pans wereprofessionally replaced. The only rust I can find is some light surface rust under the doors, but this could clean up easily. The body lines are very nice, and the doors close easily -Power top in good condition, no tears, works fast. -Body seams are nice. Doors close easily with that positive Mustang sound. - All lights, turn signals, wipers, horn, washer, blower, etc work fine. These are inspection items and it has a current July 2014 PA inspection sticker. Mechanical: -This Mustang drives very nice. Smooth, powerful, quite, and great power assisted braking. This is one of the nicer driving Mustangs I have found in awhile! -Original 289 had the heads rebuilt, carb rebuilt, new distributor, new timing chain, and tune up. It startswith a flick of the key, idles smoothly at 800 rpm, and revs strongly to redline. No smoking or leaks. -Rebuilt automatic, with new torque convertor, shifts very smoothly (just rebuilt last year). -Power steering and power brakes. -Brake system was all gone over, new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders and drums. Excellent feel and modulation, it has great braking even by modern standards. -Radiator flushed and pressure tested. -New battery and alternator. -Brand new premium radial tires (5). Original wheel covers inexcellent condition. Interior: -Original style interior, seats were redone at some point andlook very good. -Dash has no cracks. -Original console in good condition. -Has original door tag, buck tag, VIN stamping on inner fender, and VIN on the Dash (public vin’s were required in ’68). Pickup or Delivery: Will only deliver the car once paid for. You are welcome to inspect the car before the auction ends. We can help ship worldwide, and have served many foreign buyers. Here is a nicely restored 1968 Mustang Convertible that is PA
inspected and ready for summer fun! It was owned by a Doctor, and he had his mechanic looking after it, and always keeping it in top shape. It is in excellent mechanical condition. The driveline is all original and rebuilt to stock specs. It has Power Steering, Power Brakes,
and Power Top. Miles are original at 98k. This car is really fun to drive and would make a reliable weekend cruiser. I would drive it anywhere with confidence.

Body:
-Frame rails are totally solid, as are the rockers and pinch welds (see Pics). The floors were undercoated and are solid. Front pans were replaced. No sagging evident in the chassis.
-Paint was redone many years ago in the original Metallic Turquoise lacquer. The front clip was more recently repainted and is very nice. The doors, quarters, and trunk lid all have some cracks in the paint due to aging. You only notice this from inside 5 feet. Please see the pictures. As a driver, it looks great on the road, and I would just have fun with it as-is. Paint these parts and the value would rise, your choice. I am not representing this as a show car, just a nice driver.
Please don’t buy it and complain about the paint. Call me for further dialog if needed.
-Restored with original sheet metal, no bondo. The front floor pans were
professionally replaced. The only rust I can find is some light surface rust under the doors, but this could clean up easily. The body lines are very nice, and the doors close easily
-Power top in good condition, no tears, works fast.
-Body seams are nice. Doors close easily with that positive Mustang sound.
- All lights, turn signals, wipers, horn, washer, blower, etc work fine. These are inspection items and it has a current July 2014 PA inspection sticker.
Mechanical:
-This Mustang drives very nice. Smooth, powerful, quite, and great power assisted braking. This is one of the nicer driving Mustangs I have found in awhile!
-Original 289 had the heads rebuilt, carb rebuilt, new distributor, new timing chain, and tune up. It starts
with a flick of the key, idles smoothly at 800 rpm, and revs strongly to redline. No smoking or leaks.
-Rebuilt automatic, with new torque convertor, shifts very smoothly (just rebuilt last year).
-Power steering and power brakes.
-Brake system was all gone over, new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders and drums. Excellent feel and modulation, it has great braking even by modern standards.
-Radiator flushed and pressure tested.
-New battery and alternator.
-Brand new premium radial tires (5). Original wheel covers in
excellent condition.
Interior:
-Original style interior, seats were redone at some point and
look very good.
-Dash has no cracks.
-Original console in good condition.
-Has original door tag, buck tag, VIN stamping on inner fender, and VIN on the Dash (public vin’s were required in ’68).
Pickup or Delivery:
Will only deliver the car once paid for. You are welcome to inspect the car before the auction ends. We can help ship worldwide, and have served many foreign buyers. I will deliver the car to the Baltimore

Fee and Tax Information: I do not charge any extra fees on vechile sales. State sales tax is paid in the state you reside, when you register the car there. If you are a PA buyer, you will pay the sales tax when you register/title the car. We can do this at a nearby title service when you come to pick up the car. If you need a 30 day PA transit tag, they charge $45 for this at the title service.
