1956 FORD F100 CUSTOMHere is a nice little '56 Ford F100 mild custom. * Some of the modifications include, custom built box with Cadillac taillights and third brake light. * The chain latches were removed and spring loaded pins were installed on the inside of tailgate to open it. * The gas filler was removed and relocated higher up on the cab, molded with a body conformed filler door, complete with a magnetic release. * The front and rear fenders were molded into the body for a smooth clean appearance. * Custom made front and rear bumpers. * The grill is custom as well, housing rectangular headlights. * Power comes from a Ford 302 small block with a C4 auto transmission. The truck has power steering, but no power brakes. * Front suspension is a Volare with disc brakes. * The JD-SS Halibrand Replica wheels 15x7", 15x8" are brand new along with the brand new Toyo tires. * Looking at the inside, the F100 has bucket seats with a center console that houses the automatic shifter, a safety anti-theft device and storage. It also has tilt steering column It has a brand new Alpine CD deck with Kenwood speakers. All door rubber is also new on this truck. Basic door panels, new carpeting and polished aluminum sill plates finish out the interior. About the only thing that I would probably add to this truck are some aftermarket gauges. The temp gauge works and truck runs cool. The oil pressure gauge/light works. The gas gauge goes to empty when filled, reads up to 1/2 full as it empties.All turn signals, headlights ( high and low beam )and brake lights work great. All in all, this is a great get in, start it up and have a blast cruisin' 1956 Ford.
