1973 Volkswagen Beetle. Good condition overall. Titled insured and driven occasionally. Not enough to keep, so I'm gonna hand it off to someone who will enjoy it. Purchased about 2 years ago. Installed new shifter bushing, new seats, new door panels, new carpet kit. It could use a new headliner to really make the inside pop. Just changed the oil and pumped out the gas and put in fresh gas. Runs really well and drives like a '73. This is a running driving project or a driver as is. I'm sure it could use the suspension and brakes freshened up and things like that, but you could drive it home as is. I'm not going to recommend jumping on the highway by any means. I've probably put 100 miles on it in 2 years, so I can't in good faith say fly in with your family and drive her home. It's a 1973 vehicle, not a new car. If your looking for a classic beetle at for a good price, know what you're buying for the price. It does have a pushbutton for the starter under the key switch for whatever reason that works fine. Seems like every beetle I've owned has had this. If you do not live local, I am not going to endorse driving the car home. I'm not saying it won't make it but its a 40 year old car that has not been on the road other than going to the park or store close by. This has only been in the last few weeks. I has been sitting in my shop or garage for the last 2-3 years up until now. I drove the car home about 30 miles when I bought it but that was a few years back and I was followed home. Maybe I'm just getting older but I value my perfect feedback. I'm getting a lot of people that seem to want to make this their first car or a primary vehicle.
