2001 Volkswagen, New Beetle, Diesel, 5 Speed, Turbo, Royal Blue CONDITION: This car needs some TLC. It has been in the same family since brand new which is a plus. I have all the work ever done to it if needed. Right now, it needs a mechanic and some work to pass inspection. I got quoted a little over $900 and research confirms between $700 & $950 (see below for research source). This is a great car for a mechanic or someone that wants to flip it for a higher price. It has some rust spots and the last owner (me) DID SMOKE. A car detail usually takes care of this. ALSO NOTE> we will be cleaning out this car quite thoroughly. I know how I would want to receive a car even used, and I wouldn't be pleased to get it like it is in the pics. I will be vacuuming and wiping down completely. It needs a new front right tire as well. As stated above: Small rust spots on hood (see image). THIS CAR HAS A REJECTION STICKER. The car drives fine but is not currently road legal. The car CAN DRIVE but currently has a rejection sticker. P.S. I have spent a lot of time researching the legality of selling a car with a rejection sticker on it. I have found NO SOURCES, claiming it to be illegal. I do know, the Lemon Law will protect any buyer of this car in case you are worried. (which you should NOT be) I am very honest, and my mechanic has told me numerous amounts of times, the Catalytic Converter is what's keeping it from passing inspection. P.P.S.
