1948 GMC Model FC 303 1 1/2 ton truck for restoration. this is a western Colorado truck. it has been sitting many years. it does run, the clutch and transmission feel good. it has a 2 speed rear end. it has the normal rust at cab corners, and the top part of inside floor board is rusty. under the seat is solid. it has a clear Colorado title, original (rough but complete) owner manual, and also an original 1948 GMC brochure. see pictures. it comes with spare wheel, original lug wrench and breaker bar. this does need to be restored, the tires are up, but no good, the brakes are not working. the windshield, and driver door window are good, the other two windows are broken. I can e-mail any additional pictures someone might want. the doors, and fenders, and grille, are on good condition. the cab is good for a truck just a few dings by back window, and the rust in cab corners. I will answer all questions.. this truck was used to haul peaches from western Colorado all the way to Kansas. some one welded a solid metal plate on the bed over the original wood. look at all the pictures, this is sold as a restoration project. it has a working spotlight, and tachometer . looks like all the gauges work. would need to be re wired throughout. pickup only in western Colorado. mileage is not accurate also, want to add that it has the factory heater in it, and the radiator is good, I closed the valve and put coolant in it, it has not leaked. it does not come with a battery
