Here for your consideration is an original TR5T that I purchased in 1977 from the original owner. I've rode this bike many miles in the Colorado mountains with my kids and now they are 40 years old! The bike has been stored since the late 1990's and I decided it was time to let it go. Since I rode it off road I had removed the pretty chrome rear fender and huge tailight and bulky muffler but still have them and buyer gets them if he wants them. The battery was removed and the bike runs on the capacitor. The capacitor has been replaced a couple of times since the original capacitors die after time. The fuel tank is good with no dents. The fuel cap needs the little brass spring that seals the fuel tank. Don't know where it went. I may have borrowed it at some time because I had another one of bikes at one time. These are available probably on ebay. The headlight has some surface rust but the other chrome is good. The speedometer works great. The Tach was removed years ago. The engine has never been apart and only routine maintenance has been done to the bike. I just recently cleaned the varnish out of the tank and petcocks, installed fresh gas and it fired right up. Really a sweet little bike. After being stored a long time I noticed a small leak which I think is the countershaft seal because the transmission oil was low. You don't notice it when riding.
