Vehicle Detail
Showroom condition. No scratches or stone chips. Paint looks as shinny as when she was new. Always garaged (air conditioned) or kept in shade. Never rode her in rain. She was ridden for pleasure on cloudy or sunny days mostly 70 miles to 80 miles round trip (to the marina and back). 100% operational. Final drive is as tight as when new (no play at all). There are no oil drips or oil seepage. Always used BMW motor oil. 20W50 oil for first 10,000 miles and 15w50 synthetic for last 9,000 miles. Last oil change was done December 2013. Only put 25 miles on bike since oil charge. Air filter, transmission oil and final drive oil has been changed in December 2012 (BMW parts). Brake fluid was last flushed by dealer when the bike was still under warranty (about fall of 2007). The battery is two years old (Wesco) and starts the bike well when she is cold and should be good for this and next riding season. One headlight bulb burned out last year. Replaced all three headlight bulbs. Since she was ridden on North Carolina / Virginia / South Carolina flat lands, there is virtually no ware on brake pads. Factory options: cruise control, on board computer, grip heaters, chrome exhaust, ESA electric shock adjustment, ABS, white front turn signals (still in box, not installed). Owner installed options: BMW small hard top box, shift extender, I would also include a 2 years old (looks like new) Shoei RF-1100 helmet (white). History: One owner motorcycle, bought her new from dealer (was not a loaner or test bike). Buyer would need to pick up motorcycle. Send or bring $250.00 deposit (certified check) within 48 hours. Bring insurance ID card if you want to ride her away when final payment check is verified / cleared. We would also need to sign a (notary certified) "For Sale transaction paper" (need this for local tax assessor's office). Taxes, title fees and the like are your responsibility. I am putting the bike up for sale at a lower than blue book value since I need to sell her in a short time due to moving. I also am getting out of motorcycling (unfortunately).
