The engine and transmission are original and have not been rebuilt. Numbers are matching and in its original condition (excluding repaint). The engine is a 250 CID Turbo Thrift that delivers 155 HP and is coupled to a 2 speed power glide transmission. The engine and transmission have never been taken apart or rebuilt. This is a two owner car repainted by the original owner prior to sale in 1989. The butternut yellow paint is 25 years old. It is faded in some areas and does have small rock chips in the sides of the back fender. The lacquer paint does have hairline cracks in the front end. The current owner has always garaged the car during the past 25 years and only drove it during the summer. It has not seen any snow or road salt, and has always been rust free. This 1968 Camaro has a manually operated black nylon top which is 15 years old and identical to the original top. It is in excellent condition without tears, rips, or broken stitching. The color is crisp and shows no fading. The back plastic window is somewhat opaque due to age. The front wheels are 14x7” while the rear are 15x8”. The smaller front wheels allow for ease of turning while the wider wheels maintain excellent road stability. The interior is a black vinyl and is in good original condition without tears or rips. The glass is in good condition and does not have any rock cracks. The windshield does have some sand etching, which does not affect visibility. The stainless steel is in good shape while the rear chrome light bezel’s shows some weathering. The car has non power 4 wheel drum brakes and does not have the original radio.
