***1996 FORD RANGER EXT. CAB*** 3.0L V6 XLT I am offering a 1996 PU in excellent mechanic condition. This has been my daily driver for the past 5 years. I purchased it after the previous owner had it fixed after a minor front end collision, @ 136,000 miles. I replaced both front springs, all fluids were flushed and replaced, (rear differential, cooling system, and Transmission with filter) oil has been changed regularly with filter and Mobile 1 10w30 full synthetic oil. The spark plugs and wires along with rear brakes were replaced at the same time along with shocks. Then the front brakes were replaced around 165,000 mi. when the fuel pump was replaced. EVERYTHING works and at this time the truck needs nothing and is ready for any use. It also includes a bed liner. I use this truck for 300 to 600 mile trips 4 or 5 times a year and have never experienced a single problem. The motor uses no oil between changes, and does not smoke, it gets approximately 18-19 mpg average and 21-22 mpg on the highway. It comes with a class II Reese hitch, and receiver with 1 7/8" ball, used to tow a 12' aluminum fishing boat. The interior is dirty as I have only vacuumed and not tried to clean the coffee stains as seen in the pictures, it has a couple small tears in the drivers seat. The body has some small dings and scratches but is in good condition for a vehicle of this age and is not showing any rust on the cab body and doors, only on the fender wells, except the drivers front fender which is also not showing any rust as it was brand new in 2009 when the vehicle was wrecked. This truck is in very good condition for it's age, and would trust it to go anywhere!!! I really don't think you will find a mid size truck in better condition physically and mechanically for it's age and mileage than this one as nothing has been covered up. It will come with the 14" factory aluminum wheels and tires as seen on the front. This is a very dependable vehicle and I am only selling it to go to a 4 WD truck, this truck if serviced regularly has many trouble free miles left. The newer SWISS FIBERGLASS CAP was $700.00 and purchased new in 2009 when I purchased the truck and has been on the truck every since, it is in EXCELLENT CONDITION!!! The 235 75R 15 TA radials are about 50%, and are what I would run on the back in the winter.
