Up for bid today is another car gotten from ORIGINAL OWNER! 1976 Porsche 912E. This was a one year model. Think it is first year for the fuel injection engines. This is such a fun car to drive. I got it from original owner...and when I got it I stored in my garage at my house and when I moved I drove for a bit then stored in a warehouse. This car attracts attention everywhere I went with it. And now this is your chance to own a Porsche. This car has the RARE COPPOFLORIA BLUE in color. Mated with a nice 5 speed transmission. This car just itches to be driven. When I got it...the original owner was that "80 year old man" who drove it like an 80 yr old man. I had my mechanic go through the motor and did a lot of work on it. Adjusting and tuning the engine just right. Inside it is fairly basic. Has manual windows and a cassette in it. The heat is awesome and a new heater blower motor has been installed. I know it needs the visor clips replaced. But the headliner is not cut up. The back seats are great and the front seats have covers on them but I was gonna have them recovered but then ended up storing it. This is a great car to get...totally drivable while you "restore" it. Or drive it like it is. The exhaust system was replaced before I got it with an after market...and a true enthusiast might want to put it with a authentic Porsche exhaust but the one on the car is completely functional. The car never left me stranded and was faithful for starting etc. There are no known problems with the transmission. The body is in pretty good condition. There is the start of minor surface rust along the bottom of the front piece (see pics) and I have not noticed any other rust on the car. But remember car is sold as-is. I try to include everything that I know but I am human so I do my best. The car comes with a car cover see pics. The hood opens but is sometimes a bit stiff. Comes with new battery!
