For sale by auction, 1981 CJ7 Laredo that runs and drives. CJ has a straight six 258 motor, bikini top, 3-speed automatic transmission and three inch lift. I have replaced the: - air filter- oil filter - transmission filter- crown pinion oil seal on rear differential- floor headlight dimmer switch- front headlights- tail light bulbs- windshield wipers- bikini topI have purchased, but not installed:- Front and back seat covers- Brake light switchJeep has a bikini top only, aftermarket front seats, original back seat (has rips), inner floor tub has been sprayed with undercoating. Automatic shifter has been moved from the tree to the floor. Heater switch works, windshield wipers work, fuel gauge works. Body has some dents, rust and scratches and the paint is faded, but I like the original patina, and it still says "Laredo" on the hood. Speedometer does not work and no radio. Winch is not wired to the battery, but I have the cords to connect it. The radiator cooling line for the transmission does not circulate, so the trans fluid is cooled through the transmission vent line circulating through the level indicator. This is a quick fix that work. Mileage reads 89,110, but I'm sure it has stopped counting. The title says exempt on the mileage, since the vehicle is older than ten years.Overall, this is a great little CJ that I drive around town on weekends and tinker with at night.
