16583 miles, bike was in long term storage until I bought it in April 2012. Great condition, runs smooth and powerful, inside fuel tank shows no rust. New rear tire last year and front tire in good condition. Wheels in nice condition. Battery 2 years old, oil change,final drive oil change,all lube points lubed last year. New windshield this Spring, Rear brakes checked for wear and adjusted , front brakes stops well but sometimes won't release (see exception), all new filters. Comes with removable suit case saddle bags and Rear Trunk, engine guard, saddle bag and trunk chrome guard,complete tool kit,highway pegs,adjustable headlight, owner/operator manual, Clymer service manual, helmet lock, 2 helmets, removable passenger seat. Both rider and passenger seats show little to no wear with no rips or abnormalities. The engine runs and sounds great. Also has a full cover purchased last year. The pictures show both set up for solo or dual riders and will be delivered as dual set up. It was the top of the line of the "CX" style motorcycles sold by Honda. The CX line had the shaft drive of a BMW, the transverse V-twin of a Moto Guzzi, and the water cooling of a Goldwing. The GL500I added an air suspension, front and back, to the motorcycle. It also has electronic ignition and a higher capacity alternator, so you don't have to mess with points, and you can connect any and all accessories to the motorcycle. I would not hesitate to ride this bike anywhere. This is one of the best engines built by Honda with water cooled, drive shaft, air ride suspension. Shifts great through all gears with no clutch problems or slippage.Great performance and torque with plenty of power. Very smooth riding bike,could easily be ridden by anyone short or tall with the low riding seat or raise the bike with the air suspension for taller rider. Under the engine is as clean as the rest of the bike and shows no leaks. There maybe a few (not many) more miles on the bike if it is test ridden. The bike is sold with no warranty and clear title.
