Up for sale is my original BMW R69S with all numbers matching on frame, engine, and front tag. It is not running right now and the engine is stuck from sitting. The bike is in good overall condition and is a candidate for a running resurrection or a complete restoration. It had been sitting in a basement for around 30 years when I got it and I have had it sitting around for quite sometime myself. As I said the engine is stuck and I never got around to fixing the problem. My concern was that the bike may have had water damage as they sometimes do, but all the oil came out clean so I know the bike just set up from disuse. The only thing I don't have is the correct exhaust, tool kit or pump. I do have and will include the light lenses that go in the head light bucket for bright and neutral indication. The transmission moves freely and the bike rolls easily. Gas tank is solid, straight, rust free and still has the original signature BMW red lining. The title is free and clear no liens, issued in 1985, so no last minute surprises. Overall I think this bike should come around well for restoration.
