Here is a Cadillac Fleetwood series 75 Limousine. With the largest "fins" to ever come out of Detroit, the 59' Cadillac Fleetwood is an American icon. The golden age of big American cars. This Cadillac was bought by my grandparents in San Rafael California in 1984 at an outfit called Scandinavian Motors. The car has been sitting for several years in the dry air of Albuquerque, New Mexico (cars here rarely rust). While looking over the whole car I did not find any rust except for a spot on the hood where paint had peeled, and on the glove compartment door. My grandparents kept every paper they have on the car, I know that before they put it into the backyard that the engine had been rebuilt. As far a running condition I put a little gas in the carburetor and used some engine starter and it turned over about twelve or so times before it ran out of gas. It sounded just fine for the short time I heard it run. If you have any questions I should be able to answer a lot from the papers records as well as my grandparents. The car cannot be driven out of the drive way. This car will need a new battery, engine starter, new tires to be driven, possibly more. It can start but I have not tried to drive it.
