Vehicle Detail
Hello to all who view this. I'm selling my 2005 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor because I no longer need it. It has 147,040 miles. AC works and blows cold air. Heater only blows luke warm air. The inside is clean with the exception of the driver seat that has some stains that were present when I bought it from prior police use and it is missing the ticket light at the front center of the headliner. There are some minor scratches on the sides and trunk but nothing major. Has 4 new Goodyear Viva 2 tires with less than 50 miles on the tread. Engine is the 250 hp 4.6 SOHC 2V V8 with 200 amp HD alternator. I have replaced numerous items on the vehicle such as: new radiator, new thermostat and housing, new blue silicone hoses, new EGR valve, new Mass Air Flow sensor, new Throttle Position Sensor, new fuel pressure temp sensor, new water pump, new fuel filter and oil filter with fresh 5W-20 oil change, replaced drive belt with Gates Green Stripe HD fleet drive belt, 8 new fuel injectors, 8 new ignition coils and spark plugs, new M-9424-P46 Mustang GT intake manifold with Fel-Pro Perma-Dry plus intake gaskets, new maintenance free battery, replaced headlight bulbs with xenon bulbs, new Fram Tough Guard air filter, new brake rotors and pads, fresh 85W140 gear lube with friction modifier for the 8.8 3.27 rear end, new heater hoses, and new knock sensor. The car runs like new and gets up and goes very quickly. Transmission shifts good; has a minor leak from the pan gasket, just needs the pan gasket replaced to fix the leak. The pinion seal has been leaking but it appears to have stopped now; I have a new seal which I'll include with the car when it sells plus a Haynes manual I'll also include. I had to wire up a new horn and horn button because the old horn did not work; the button is on the A pillar above the headlight switch (see pictures). The car runs and drives excellent and I've done a lot of work to it so it should give the next owner many miles of trouble free operation. It also has the original owners manuals too. I have listed everything I've done and any problems it has to my fullest extent. Vehicle is being sold AS-IS. You will NOT be disappointed in this car in the very least!!! There are no warranties implied or otherwise. There is NO reserve price I'm setting, highest bidder wins the auction. Winning bidder responsible for pickup or shipping the vehicle and all related costs. Car will be released when Full Payment is made and cleared. Also feel free to ask any questions you might have about the vehicle BEFORE you bid!!! Happy Bidding!!! P.S. I had many new replacement parts including a Ford racing GT intake manifold and Fel-Pro perma-dry plus intake gaskets installed and the Vic runs excellent. The reason I bring up the intake and gaskets so much is because these are common failure points on ALL Crown Vics and Mercury Grand Marquis 1996-2005 MY especially PI models that can have engine coolant entering the intake tact and hydrolocking the engine if not caught early enough. Some don't know or won't tell you of this when buying or selling a PI. I caught mine early and replaced any and all components including intake and gaskets for a trouble free great running vehicle. On Apr-16-14 at 08:59:15 PDT, seller added the following information: I'm going to O'Reilly's either Thurs. or Fri. this week to pick up the transmission pan gasket and filter kit and keep it in the car for whoever wins the CVPI. That way the parts are already with the car. I apologize for not getting this fixed myself but there are no decent transmission shops in my town and I'd rather have it professionally done when it comes to the transmission. The fluid required is Mercon V.
