Extremely Rare Fiberfab Jamaican. This was a rare Body kit sold by the California company Fiberfab in the late 1960's. Very few bodies were made for the Austin Healey Chassis. One source says 5 were produced. I purchased this car from the owner of 30+ years 2 years ago in southern CA. He bought the body in the mid 1970's from the son of the founder of Fiberfab as the company was going out of business. This was one of the few bodies they had made for a Healey, and had gone unsold. He did most of the work you see today in the 1970's, nearly completing the car, however some upheavals in his life prevented its completion. It was then stored for many years until I purchased it in 2012. This is an opportunity to finish this car and have a very wild looking Healey Special that would draw crowds wherever it goes. The only Healey based Jamaican I have seen sold several years ago at the Paris Retromobile auction where it sold for $56,000. The car does not run, but has a sound chassis and body in great shape. My plans to restore it had to be put on hold for several reasons, but I hope to see someone finish this very special Healey.
