Vehicle Detail

I am the second owner this 2006 Impala SS. I purchased it in 2008 with 14,000 miles and it has been my daily driver, and one of the best cars I have ever owned. This is the third Impala I have owned and it has been very reliable. I am very meticulous when it comes to my vehicles and this Impala has been babied the entire time I have owned it. The vehicle was well maintained by me personally and serviced at proper intervals. As you will see in the pictures it does not look its age and I frequently receive compliments. Not only does it look pretty but it is very quick and handles beautifully. The vehicle is fully loaded with every factory option that was available for that model year. The SS was a limited run until 2010 and are very sought after. With a 5.3 LS4 V8 engine and 303 factory horsepower, not counting the cold air intake and Magnaflow exhaust, you will have no problem merging into traffic. Included with the car is a complete set of winter wheels. These are GM Police Package Impala steel wheels with the bolted on police center cap, stainless steel trim rings, stainless lugs, tire pressure sensors, and 1 year old Blizzak tires. This package alone was over $1000. The factory aluminum wheels are near perfect since I never drove them in the winter. I am a police officer and have added other police package equipment that I liked having in my work car that I wanted in my personal car. If you look in the trunk you will see a fully sliding trunk shelf and organizer along with LED trunk lighting and 3 outlet power plugs. I also have whats called a secure idle installed. This option allows you to activate a switch and remove the keys from the vehicle while running, if someone was to try and steal the car the engine would shut off as soon as they put their foot on the brake to shift from park. This is nice feature if your stepping out of your car and don't want to shut off and restart it again. Its the same system on squad cars. The following is list of service I have performed and upgrades I have made. Recent Service (within the past 6 month) New Pro-stop platinum brakes New GM struts New GM front wheel bearings New Bosch battery New Nitto tires (less than 5000 mi.) New GM leather steering wheel and shift knob. ( The original was a little worn and irritated me) Service Performed (within the past 3 years) New GM rack and pinion (dealer installed recall) New GM waterpump (dealer installed) Upgrades Magnaflow catback stainless exhaust K&N cold air intake Weathertech floorliner mats & ventshade HID headlights and fog lights LED Reverse lights, license plate, interior, and trunk lights Griffin Ipod mount, custom installled and hardwired Pro-fit phone holder Custom console USB power plug GM contoured mud flaps Black powder coated grill bowtie Carbon fiber emblem overlays Secure Idle ignition system Pro-gard trunk tray Pro-gard trunk organizer GM trunk mat Tinted windows Winter wheel package Blemishes A couple small parking lot dings from careless people but hardly noticeable Some light paint chips on the front and mirrors from normal road use Small area on rear bumper where the paint is chipped away from my son running into it with his bike All damage is very minor for a 8 year old vehicle and is not noticeable unless your really looking for it The interior is near flawless with only minor wear on the drivers seat Now for full disclosure, this vehicle has a rebuilt title. I found this vehicle through an insurance adjuster I know in March of 2008 and I personally inspected the vehicle before purchasing and having it and having it rebuilt. It had minor front end damage and was hit while parked so no airbag or seatbelt replacement was needed. I have pictures I can provide of the damage before the rebuild. There was no frame damage and only needed minor bumper straightening, sheet metal, and a bumper cover. I have owned and personally driven this vehicle for 6 years and can honestly say I have had zero issues with this car because of the damage it originally had. If you could find a flaw I welcome it. The repair was performed by a licensed body shop I picked and was fully inspected by the Illinois Secretary of State Police and passed all inspections before being able to title the vehicle. If you don't feel comfortable purchasing please don't bid! I am very confident this one is nicer then most 06 Impala's on the road. Text me with any questions if you want (630) 457-0972, Jeff Over $5000.00 in upgrades. If you live close call an arrange a time to take a look, you will not be disappointed. I really didn't want to sell, this was my baby as you can see, but I needed a truck for work so it is time to go on to someone else who will enjoy it.
