Low Reasonable Reserve Set Well Below The $1000’s Invested.It’s been lovingly stored and preserved in a legitimate temperature / humidity controlled smoke free indoor asian motorcycle spa since a very meticulous show quality restoration. A great historical bike to add to your collection. The four speed "H" model was only sold in two years. All period correct and sized Honda "8" fasteners. Frame Number : CT70H-110879Engine Number: CT70HE-110892Since it was the original engine that went with the frame serious collectors recognize these numbers as matching (even though they are off by a few digits). This is common for most vintage Honda’s.Actual miles are unknown but it has less than 2 very easy street miles since restoration. Speedo was professionally rebuilt and reset to zero miles.*** PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ ENTIRE DESRIPTION PRIOR TO PLACING YOUR BID ***The frame, upper fork holder, swingarm, chain guard (new), head light bucket (new), and shock caps (new) were painted a candy emerald green. The footpegs, kickstand, tank mount, seat brackets, rims, hubs, intake tube, and clutch cover were blasted and powdercoated. All period correct honda "8" bolts were re-zinc plated and installed. All the hardware like the brake arms, axels, stays, chain adjusters, springs, seat latch, battery tray were replaced with new or re-zinc plated. New reproduction stem / frame decal. The speedo was professionally disassembled, cleaned, lubed, reset to zero, and new decal added. The triple tree, brake panels, cam cover, and valve covers were profesionally polished. All the electrical switches and lights work. It has many ALL NEW parts including: handle bars, grips, levers, lever screws, knobs, reflectors, fenders, tail light bracket, plate frame, rear shocks, horn, fork seals, grommets, stem nut, tires, tubes, chain, sprokets, brake pedal, brake rod, fuel cap, engine guards, decals, seat, frame molding, carb, cables, brakes, wheel bearings, ir cleaner assembly, shifter, kick start, coil, spark plug cap, wiring harness, key switch, dimmer switch, horn button, battery, battery cover, tail light, head light, exhaust pipe., exhaust guards, left side magneto cover, chrome fork tubes, fork boots, and probably a few more things I forgot to list but you get the idea. A vast majority of these new parts were purchased directly from Honda or CHP. The engine was completely rebuilt by highly experienced Honda mechanic that has built 100’s of Honda motorcycle engines. It has new seals, bearings, gaskets, piston, rings, spark plug, dip stick, etc. It has lots of compression and usually starts effortlessly on the first or second kick. It starts, idles, and runs as good as it looks. The engine still needs to be broken in and oil should be changed after 30-60 minutes of operation before normal use.Realistically speaking a "100% perfect" bike does not exist and this bike is no exception. It’s a nicely RESTORED bike but NOT original and NOT 100% perfect. SHIPPING: The bike is located in Saint John, Indiana, 46373 (Chicagoland), about 10 minutes south of the I-94, I-294, I-394 And I-80 interchanges. LOCAL PICK UP IS STRONGELY PREFERRED. BUYER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PICK UP, TRANSPORTATION, AND SHIPPING EXPENSES. Shipping will be at the buyers risk. I can assist in loading if necessary.
