This auction is for an original 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Sport. Sporting its original black and gold but weathered paint. Engine and transmission not installed. 85,000 original miles. On Apr-25-14 at 17:09:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Engines and transmission are all included with original brackets and pulleys. Also includes all a/c components, factory exhaust manifolds and smog equipment. When I purchased the Monte Carlo the original engine had a rod knock. My friend had a rebuilt 1986 Monte Carlo short block which he put the heads, intake and accessories on from the original 1987 engine. It has never been fired and sitting in dry storage. You will receive both the complete engine and the original block. I do not know if the original 305 is rebuildable or not. Please feel free to ask any questions.
