This Sharp 2005 Chevy Colorado "Z71 4X4" was totaled out by the previous owners Insurance Company(Country Mutual)and will be an easy Rebuilder that will make a nice truck for personal use or for resale and was quoted to have a $12,000 cash value before damage with the low miles and good condition.
The damage can be seen in the many pictures with nothing hidden or overlooked. The grille and both right lamps are damaged from broken plastic tabs but lamps & signals will work. The obvious damage is: Windshield, hood, right fender, right front door, outter rocker, drip rail above door(no damage to top)minor dent in rear door that is hard to see in pic., right rear bedside and taillamp lens although lamps & signals work. No frame or suspension damage and the only structural damage I can see is that a slight pull needed on center post for alignment of used door. No obvious damage to cowl or hinge pillar and all 4 doors swing as they should. The truck runs straight down the road as I did a short road test and it will drive but always best to trailer or ship Salvage Rebuilders until repaired to be roadworthy, legal & safe. The passenger door glass was covered with plastic by the Insurance Company when I received it and will be when you receive it but until then will be stored inside.
The popular 3.5L engine sounds great with no engine or air bag warning lights on dash and the tranny shifts great as does the shift-on the-fly 4x4.
The overall truck is in good shape with no rust or hail dings and appears to have come from a good home with no signs of being off-road or abused. The interior is equally as nice as the pictures will show with all power equipment working as it should including both keyless entry fobs and cold air. No odor from smoke or pets.
Carfax reported a 2-Owner truck with a good history and will be availabe at no charge.
BUYER INSPECTION: This vehicle will be as my pictures and description indicate with no hidden surprises. In addition to this I welcome and recommend a buyer's inspection to you, if not familiar with Wreck Rebuilding? Please be advised that used vehicles will have typical scratches and dings inherent for their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail.
