I have decided to sell my 1972 Ford Thunderbird with the 429 cu in V8 engine. I bought this car 6 years ago, thinking I would have time to enjoy it but sadly I have had work done on it but have had no time to enjoy. When I got this car, it didn't run and when we finally did get it running it leaked oil badly. I have since had the valve cover gaskets replaced, a fresh tune up (new plugs, wires, distributor, etc), new belts, filters and radiator hose, part of the fuel line repaired and a new alternator. I am sure there are other things that I have done but right now not coming to me. I do know the A/C compressor is not hooked up (it wasn't when I got it and never got around to trying it). This car runs great...shifts smooth and is very nice to ride in. It is fully loaded...power windows, locks, etc and even still has the original 8-track player still in it. I have the original hubcaps too I just keep them off so that they don't get stolen. The tires are in very good shape and almost look new. There are a couple of bad parts...I have pics of them as well. There is minor rust on the wheel wells and the headliner needs to be replaced. Otherwise this is a excellent car. The inside is beautiful and the outside shows awesome and get looks the times I have taken it out. The interior is not ripped up at all. Doesn't look like the outside has been hit. The body is otherwise in excellent shape. The title is clear and in my hand. I HAVE THE CLEAR TITLE SIGNED AND READY TO BE TRANSFERED TO THE NEXT OWNER I love driving this car...the heat is awesome.....AND THIS CAR RIDES LIKE A DREAM. There is no rust through........there are a few spots of minor rust starting to bubble but not very big in size. It has a 429 cu inch 8 CYLINDER engine that purrs like a kitten.
