hard to find 1st year 3series es,top of the line in 1986,[is. not until 87'] all original,es sport came with recaros,front air dam, rear spoiler[like the later is]has a clean calif title, with no rust.CANNOT BESOLD IN CALIF. car absolutely runs great,drive anywhere, but well not pass calif smog, has a bad catalytic converter, calif requires a special calif cat only, witch is very expensive,all other states can use a univeral cat which is inexpensive if needed at all.------------------EXTERIOR---------------,body real straight, original paint real nice on the sides,does have clear coat peeling on hood,roof, and trunk[see pictures],glass all good, trim all good[bumpers,trim etc]lights good,tires good]----------------INTERIOR-----------------original recaros,rear seat good,passenger seat good, drivers side has some rips,that have been patched[see pictures],headliner good,carpets good,door panels good,dash has some cracks,--------------ELECTRONICS-------------- all lights work,headlights,running lights turn signals,power mirrors,interior lights,radio good,heater and fans good,trip computer good,a/c needs attention, all qauges work,[heat,speedo,tach,gas,] odo works off and on so car has to be sold tmu----------------MECHANICS--------------engine runs great,starts right up no smoke or oil leaks no overheating,trans real smooth,front end real smooth on freeway,great fun car to drive.-------------CONCLUSION-------------nice hard to find 28yr old car, great daily driver, or easy restoration,great for a bmw enthusiast, ps have low reserve, feel free to contact me for any questions or pictures of the areas of your concern, thanks and good luck
