This Truck IS WHAT IT IS WHAT IT IS !!!!!! Before you bid be perfectly clear on what you are bidding on, this is NOT a item I wish to receive negative feedback on. This was owned by a local railroad company and used as a work truck, when they sell a truck there can be no disclosure of what work has been done on the vehicle. However I know the local shops that have done the work on this and they also cannot disclose proprietory information, but I can tell you this. It had a Jasper engne with install kit installed at 113,400 miles in the fall of 2011 @ around $5,400. In the last 18,000 miles it has had Ball Joints, Tie Rods, Front Hubs and bearings, Alternator, Front and Rear Calipers / Rotors / Pads / Shocks, Rear Springs, Bearings in the both Differentials, tires in the last 800 miles. A guesstimate would be around $8,000 for all this work. It has working power windows and mirrors, delay wiper, tow / haul mode, CD player heat and A/C work as they should, 4x4 goes right in and I drove it 60 miles today and on the highway it really is surprising how well it goes down the road at 70 MPH. With all that said it is rough !!!!!! Various dents, dings, scratches, interior dirty, no bed, no rear seat, missing various interior pieces, has some rust on doors although floors and frame arent bad at all. Check engine light comes and goes it is a EVAP code, I am sure it has to do with cracks in hose on fuel filler neck, we repaired the transmission shift tube with a afternaket one as our local Ford dealer was out of OE ones and you might have to pull shifter twice or so out of park, I am told with use this will go away. It was a 8' bed truck and has a wheelbase of 172", it is a 24 valve 5.4 V8, Auto Transmission, floorshift 4x4, no tilt / cruise. I have a clear Michigan title for this truck, WITH THAT SAID I was told that the Railroad only sells vehicles with a salvage title to release them of liability. When I went to license branch I put mileage at 152,080 which is what it has, the title came back 152,800, it is not worth the expense of another title so I have already put 152,850 on title. I have a standing offer of $3,000 from a local salvage yard, I have a customer that recently paid $1,800 for a 100,000 mile used 5.4 V8 and another one that paid $600 for the same as the one in this truck used transmission.
