Up for auction, a 1968 Chevrolet Impala Custom 2 door. Restoration has been started. This was a southern car so rust was not bad. Frame is excellent condition, sheet metal patches have been installed on rear quarters and right fender, new trunk and complete floor with OEM style stamped replacement parts. Doors are solid(not any rust even on the bottoms!) Doors line up and shut perfectly(same with the hood and trunk). Original 327 with powerglide trans both work. Interior is serviceable, only 1 small crack in the dash pad. Headliner has no tears but could use a good cleaning. plastic and door panels are ok, seats have typical rips. NEW: tank sending unit and straps, rear shocks, all brake hardware, radiator, chrome badges, headers, bullet mufflers(purple hornies with turn downs). Original AC car (not working), referbed OEM rally wheels. Trim is in good condition, bumpers in great condition. Nice project, all the nasty work is done. Lost my job so it has to be sold. $500 deposit due 1 day after winning bid.
