CALIFORNIA SURVIVOR!!!! 1970 MUSTANG MACH ISTILL WEARING ITS ORIGINAL DARK IVY GREEN PAINT 1 OF 1668 WITH THESE PAINT AND TRIM CODES PER MARTI REPORT. Up for auction is this 1970 Mustang Mach I with matching numbers drive train. It has power steering, power brakes and A/C! All of the A/C equipment is there but it needs repairs. The undercarriage is VERY SOLID (the outer edges of both front floor pans will need repairs). The car runs and drives really good to be 44 years old. THIS CAR SOLD NEW FROM WARREN ANDERSON FORD IN RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA. IT WAS BUILT IN DEARBORN, MICHIGAN ON OCTOBER 28, 1969. THE CAR SOLD ON NOVEMBER 11, 1969. IT LEFT CALIFORNIA IN 1978 AND CAME TO SHILOH, TENNESSEE, WHERE IT HAS BEEN THE REST OF ITS LIFE. ******I still have the original California Gas Tank****** Please ask any questions for more information and if needed, more pictures. This is a 44 year old car that has never been restored. It has very solid original sheet metal with minimal rust. The trunk lid has some rust in it, but included in auction is a new trunk lid, MACH I letters, rear spoiler and front chin spoiler. It has chips, scratches, small dents and other blemishes (see photos). The paint shows its age, but looks great at 10 feet. This is not a show car; it is a great original car! THE CARPET IS WORN AND THE DASH PAD HAS SEVERAL CRACKS. THE HEADLINER HAS TWO SEAMS THAT ARE COMING UNDONE, BUT COULD BE REPAIRED. THE CAR IS IN GREAT UNRESTORED ORIGINAL SHAPE AND HAS HAD ONE REPAINT (DRIVER QUALITY, not show quality). IT HAS A NEW SET OF MAGNUM 500’S WITH NEW BF GOODRICH TIRES. (I STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL DEEP DISH RIMS WITH WHEELS COVERS) THE TRUNK IS VERY SOLID ONLY SHOWING MINOR SIGNS OF SURFACE RUST. THE ORIGINAL EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS ARE STILL IN THE TRUNK.
