Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is 69 Camaro SS 396. The car was driven until 16 years ago when the previous owner took the front fenders off to get a nephew to repair. The car sat without a nose ever since. He put a tarp under the car and covered it and it sat outside. I bought fenders and small stuff like headlights & hardware kit. I assembled the car with the original SS hood that had been stored inside and is in good condition. The car needs a complete RESTORATION. The floors are solid as far as I can see. The trunk floor is bad. Everything is with the car except 1 Headrest, Battery, and things you see missing in the pictures. The owner before me owned it 35 years. He says the car is a 396 originally but the engine is not the original. The rear was a 12 Bolt and was swapped out with the engine. It was being drag raced then and that owner changed them out before the prior owner to me bought it. You can see line lock by the master cylinder. As you can see in the pictures the original guages and 5500 Redline Tack only on Big Blocks I think. The rear window moldings are with the car. I have pictured 2 small holes at the bottom of rear window and rockers as well as the quarter panels. The passenger door won't open. The window is off track on drivers side. I put battery in it and it does nothing, but the engine does turn by hand. The engine was rebuilt by prior owner and looks very clean under valve cover.I checked engine numbers and the block is casting #3955272, intake #3883948 Heads #3933148. The block stamp on front pad is T0412JQ. The carburetor is probably shot. These 69 Camaros are getting harder and harder to find and more and more desirable. Again, EVERYTHING needs attention on this car. Has disk brakes manual steering. Bidders with little or no feedback rating must contact me or I will retract the bid. GOOD LUCK & HAPPY BIDDING
