Vehicle Detail
Spring Project: Racer or Economy car, your choice. I'm told the HF is the lightest of the CRX's. Racer? You were going to swap the engine, install racing seats, new tires & rims anyway, right? Do the body work & you've got a nice solid ride with very little rust. Economy? Rebuild the original engine, get tires & fix the rest down the road with the extra money you'll have by driving this gas-sipper. FYI: the vacuum gage is a helper/teacher to the hyper-miler. EPA: 40/47mpg. EPA original:49/52mpg (by old estimating system). I used to get 44-47mpg at 175K, a few times a little over 50mpg on trips. Lately down to 33-36mpg & high oil consumption with a tired engine. Includes both temporary and full-size spare, along with original jack, extension, crank & lug wrench. One photo has trim pieces taped to driver-door to show they're included (not presently installed). Have a number of extra parts, including just about everything needed for the driver door (with some spares), along with a newer seatbelt, new-in-package L&R Honda door gaskets, L&R roof moldings & valve cover gasket. Purchased from original owner 10-13-07 with 125,603 in "usually salt-free-roads" Metro Atlanta. My daily driver until 3-4-14. Still drivable & no weird engine noises other than "missing," but now runs too rough to be practical. I'll set a modest reserve, below which I think I'd rather rebuild the original engine and it'll be a dependable, very economical car again. But I really ought to get something with more seats, so Happy Bidding and enjoy.
