I would drive it anywhere. It belongs to my father and we've decided to let it go. It does not leak, smoke or make odd noises. The transmission shifts great and the truck tracks great. The exterior, underside, frame and interior are very clean and look like 50k miles. This SUV has spent it's life in middle Tennessee since new and the condition shows it. No rust. It has a nice matching set of Michelin tires. The paint is black and in excellent condition. It looks like glass. You must see how great it looks in person. No rust or rot. The undercarriage is very clean and rust/rot damage free. The interior is very clean and smells clean and has normal wear. No holes, rips or unsightly stains.The 4X4 works great and the engine has plenty of power. No check engine or warning lights are on. The tires are about 65-70 percent and evenly worn. The pictures don't do the Tahoe justice. The oil pressure is great (hot or cold) does not overheat, and the alternator charges well. The exhaust is all factory. The rpm gauge doesn't work and it's a stepper module issue which is very common on 02-05 Chevy/GMC trucks. There are tons of places on Ebay and locally who fixes this problem for around $100. We didn't need the tach to drive and didn't care to have it fixed. All other gauges work perfectly. I have a TN title in hand ready to be signed over and can be registered/driven in any state including TN. There are no restrictions on the title. The title has a remark that states rebuilt, anti-theft inspection passed. It is my understanding through my research and through examining the vehicle history that the truck was stolen around 54k miles and written off by insurance. I don't know what happened. Then in 2012 at 176k the truck hit a fence wire and the grille and headlights were replaced. The grille was upgraded with a billet one. I can find absolutely no evidence of the truck being damaged in any way. I can't find any evidence of paint work the paint looks to be factory. It shines beautifully. The only way I can tell that the headlights were replaced that there were no GM markings. Everything looks factory. The truck now has 185k miles (may go up slightly as it's being driven). And don't be afraid of the title history--The facts are most vehicles, just because the person says it has a "clean title" really doesn't amount to anything because if you don't go through insurance to repair the vehicle it isn't recorded on the history. This truck has been driven 130k miles since the title change so I would dare say there is anything wrong with the truck at all due to that. It would make anyone a good reliable vehicle. It's a really good looking SUV and you won't be let down. This is a used vehicle, don't expect a new one. You may see an issue or a flaw that I don't.
