1963 Chevrolet Corvair For Sale or Swap! Engine, carbs and wheel cylinders completely rebuilt. New gas tank and tires. Car runs great! This is a California model which has the antenna in the rear of the car as opposed to the front. Also has working original AM/FM radio (factory option) All glass is good, heat works. Car has 4 speed transmission that was gone through when engine was rebuilt. Clutch is good. Paint on car is very good. Red with white top. Both floor pans have been replaced. Carpet is also new. All the hard and expensive stuff has been done. Car needs new headliner and seat covers. Headliner will run $100 from Clarks Corvair and black seat covers run about $400 for the set. I would finish the seats and headliner in black. Car has a ding on the front passenger side fender that has been pulled and painted to keep it from rusting (see pic) This could either be repaired or replaced. A fender would run you around $100. I believe the best way to fix it is to replace the fender and have it painted. Car turns heads now and can be used as a dependable daily driver the way it sets or you could finish out the few odds and ends and have a slick weekend cruiser.
