up for auction is a true barn find, 69 mach 1, original black with black satin hood , automatic with factory ac, pwr dics brakes buckets and console, gt package . its been in storage for at least 25 years it belonged to a friend of mine's dad ,he bought it in Florida in the early 80,s, drove it home and deiced to restore it they pulled the motor and trans and the carpet. and their it sat for about 12 years after he past I bought it put all the pieces back ,and put it in storage for the last 8 years as a project when I retire . since then ive bought a 54 corvette and have committed to it so im'e selling the mach 1. its very complete all the parts seem to be original to the car all the chrome is their and in great condition. it do's not run or drive and needs complete restoration the id tag [see pic ] reads paint code[C5] jade black, [3A] black high bucket seats,[24K] build date 24th oct 1968,[24] Jacksonville fl' [6] axel .300, [x] fmx automatic,[63c fast back luxury int.,[ac] air cond, [rb] rear bumper girds, [ps] power steering,[tt] two tone hood, [rm] rocker molding, [mc] middle console, that is what I can decipher their are a couple more I have not gotten to. it has a 351 Cleveland when u decode the vin it comes back as a 351 windsor v2 , ive been told that because the motor was build date in 68 it could be special order I think u would have to get a marti report to prove that ive taken a lot of picks to see what it is the floors are good its as nice of a true barn find out their it looks like earley in its life someone put a lift qtr section on it other than that its got what u would expect for a car setting in storage for the past 25+ years. the interior is 90+ percent their the only thing missing that I can find is the center console glove box door and the wiring harness for the hood scoop blinkers, any real buyers that want to call me for any more info can email me their ph number and I will help any way I can. tis soled AS IS , no warranty buyer responsible for shipping.. it has a CLEAR AND CLEAN TITLE this is a good buildable car with all the right options and I would not hesitate to keep it good luck thanks for looking I added a pick of my 54 corvette to validate selling the mach but the vette is not included and not for sale with the mustang don
