Vehicle Detail

This Dodge ram 2500 was lifted and customize by 4 x 4 parts online out of California in 2000. It was used in some photo shoots to promote their business and driven by the owner of the company for a number of years. The man I bought it from is in his 70s and bought it simply because he loved the look of the truck. He sold it to me because his wife had become ill and neither of them were able to get in and out of the truck without using a stepladder. It was never off-roaded or mudded by and the previous owners (including me). The man I bought it from wanted a toy to drive around town. It was already lifted professionally by the 4 x 4 parts company but he wanted to modify it further. He did not think the black paint had enough shine or depth. Even though it had never been wrecked (verified through Carfax), he took it to the local dealership and had the truck dismantled and professionally painted a metallic (pearl) black. The truck was originally factory black. In my opinion, it is very difficult to see the pearl metallic in the paint, but it is an incredibly deep and rich looking paint job. Although I have owned several four-wheel-drive vehicles, almost all of them have been stock. I do not know a lot about all of the performance and off-road parts that are on this truck, I bought it because it was one of the best looking trucks I had ever seen. I'm selling it because my wife absolutely hates it and will not ride in it. I bought it when she was out of town on a business trip. She's literally ridden with me once since I've owned it. I will do my best to describe the truck and list the modifications that I am aware of. If you ask specific questions, I will be happy to send detailed photos and do my best to get answers. I do not know how much of a lift kit is on the truck. My best guess is 8 or 10 inches. The tires are 38 inches. You can judge the height of the truck by looking at the clearance in the wheelwells. I am 5'10" tall and the top of the truck bed is about even with my chin/nose. 1999 Dodge ram 2500 V10 Magnum engine 4 x 4 60,430 original miles (carfax verified)New alternator, new K and N air intake system. Recent transmission and 4 x 4 service complete with replacing all solenoids and transmission seals, filters, etc. It cost over 750 dollars. Truck had been sitting for quite a while when I purchased it so that is the reason for the transmission and 4 x 4 flush and service. The shift solenoid, governor solenoid, etc. were replaced preventatively. The V10 Magnum engine is stock with the exception of the K & N air intake system, a throttlebody spacer, and a large radiator and transmission cooler. The truck has dual exhaust and helps with fuel economy as well as power. It will easily spin the tires and has lots of low-end torque but also runs the highway very easily at 75 or 80 miles an hour with no problem. On a recent 200 mile trip on 2 Lane Backroad Hwy, I got 13.8 miles per gallon. I was running around 75 miles an hour. The headlights and taillights have been upgraded and are perfectly clear and bright. The original hood was replaced with the one you see in the photos for aesthetic reasons only. I have the original hood and it will go with the truck if the new owner wants it. The rocker panels and fender flares have been rhino lined professionally. The wheelwells have been rhino lined as well. The bumpers were replaced at the time the truck was painted purely to enhance the look of the truck. The chrome shines and there are no known flaws.Professionally Rhino Lined Bed. Locking color matched tonneau cover. Full Sized Spare included. There are no dents or dings in the truck at all. I recently had the truck professionally detailed and the interior, exterior, engine bay and undercarriage are all and extremely clean and good condition. The upholstery and carpet are in exceptional condition. There are a couple of very small hairline cracks in the dash that are very close to the windshield. You have to look very carefully to see them. The Windows have been professionally tinted and the truck has rear sliding glass. The air-conditioner was recently serviced and blows cold. The cruise control works as well as all of the other gauges, etc. four-wheel-drive high and low works perfectly and have been recently serviced. Interior is cloth and there are seat covers that have been on the truck since it was new. Upgraded aftemarket stereo head unit with mp3 input. The tires are Parnelli Jones dirt grabbers. They are 38 x 15.5 x 16..5 The front are better than 50% tread condition and the rear are 80% condition. Lift is by fabtech. I think it is either an 8 or 10 inch lift. The dual shocks are all bilstein and are in exceptional condition. I recently had the swaybar replaced and had the mechanic replace all of the rubber bushings for the shocks and checked the mounts and connecting points. He told me the lift was just like brand-new. Dana 460 front and rear. Motorized sidewinder side steps that lower when the doors are opened. I recently replaced one of the motors. Both operate flawlessly. More upgrades and performance parts than I am able to communicate. The truck was customized professionally by a 4 x 4 the company (4x4 parts online) to showcase their ability to customize and also the parts that they carry. It was featured in several magazine articles in 2000 and 2001. Since that time it has been meticulously maintained and preserved. It has never been used for the purpose that it was created. I have a clear title in my name and in my possession. I believe the truck looks better in person than it does in the pictures and I am confident you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for a beautiful lifted truck that is done right, has been maintained meticulously, and is well preserved - this is one you should seriously consider. Email with questions.
