This auction is for a 1972 Suzuki TS250 Savage motorcycle. The project has sat idle for a few years but here are the things done to the bike. Brand new tires, both front & rear mounted on aluminum rims (not the stock steel rims). The front forks are from a '74 and uses a 21" wheel up from 19" stock. New chain and sprokets are installed as are a new set of Red Wing reservoir shocks. New front & rear UFO plastic fenders, new steel handle bars, new brake & clutch levers, and new grips. The tank (steel) and side cover have been freshly painted. The biggest thing is this bike comes with a real BASSANI exhaust, that is a hard to find item. The oil injection (CCI) system was removed as was the stock air box, it has a Uni air filter. The wiring has been modified to with no lights or battery. The ignition system is the stock PEI (Pointless Electronic Ignition) and has good spark. The engine has a new top end (piston, rings, and wrist pin bearing). There is no title for this bike and with no speedometer I have idea of the true milage is. But wait there's more, I looked around the garage and found some extra parts. The bike comes with another set of forks including the triple clamps and brake stay arm. It also comes with 3 rims, 1 rear 18" rim (aluminum) & 2 front 21" rims (1 steel & 1 aluminum).On Feb-08-14 at 09:36:29 PST, seller added the following information: I just got the bike out and it started right up.
