Vehicle Detail

I bought this bike as an addition to my collection. After not doing anything with it for more than a year I have chosen to sell it. The bike is the way I bought it, I'll tell you everything I know about it. It has new throttle cables, both pull and return. The chain and sprockets are new. I have no idea how many owners enjoyed this bike. The tires are fair. All the lights work. I have driven it and it drives straight and stops well. The engine never smokes and doesn't have any unusual noises. It has a strong sealed battery. I am selling it with the period touring stuff on it. The sissy bar has chrome flaking off it, The sissy bar is clamped to the grab rail and has broken the grab rail. The headlight bucket is in place but the chome ring is not there. Not sure if the one on the fairing fir the OEM headlight bucket or not. The bucket is neatly covered where the headlight was removed. The tank is very clean but does have some rust stains on the bottom mainly on the left side. They appear to be only stains and nothing that will flake off. I tried to show in the pictures. I have a youtube walk around video and playing it back makes it sound like the engine has a deep knock. It does not. The pickup location of the bike is 16365 Payments other than cash will require time to clear funds before motorcycle pickup. Here is a walk around video taken 2/1/14: On Feb-06-14 at 17:17:39 PST, seller added the following information: I have added a few pictures to help with the true condition of the bike. I wish the new owner to be very pleased with this bike and have no surprises. I put the bike up on the lift for a close inspection and found a wet oil spot located at the bottom of the alternator cover. The previous owner smeared some silicone on the surface in an attempt to stop the leak. I have added a picture of this area. I cannot see where there is any damage. It must be just a bad gasket. This is the only wet spot I found on the engine. There are other areas with dirt stuck to light oil deposits around the rocker box, head gasket, and cylinder base gasket. I have included a picture of the front left corner of the cylinder base gasket showing the worst location. The area is not wet but oil some oil was evident to have the dirt stick to it. I purposely did not wash the engine and try to hide any of this. I don't feel anything on the top end will cause you any grief. The voltage at the battery with the lights on is 14.4V at 3,000 RPM. One cylinder doesn't fire as smooth as the other three on a cold start up but settles in quickly. The point cover is pretty wrinkled up on the bottom as seen in a new picture I have added. That picture also shows new points and condensers. The bike also has a fresh oil change. The oil that came out from the previous owner was very clean. There was now sludge on the oil drain plug or in the oil filter compartment. If you have any questions please ask. I will try and watch for any and answer them as soon as I can.
