Up for sale I have this 1969 BMW R69S. This beauty would qualify as one of those rare barn finds, but it's actually a rare wear house treasure. It has been in storage many years & remains in a decent environment, low humidity and no flooding ever. Speaking of flooding I drained all the oil from the engine trans and rear differential to look for water and found none whatsoever, absolutely none. Even so the engine does not turn over and I did not try to force it. There is scattered weathering on the bike and it's components. The frame is straight and free of repairs or welds of an kind. I suspect that the miles are original since the speedo reads 25618 now and on the title issued in 1985 the mileage read 24961 so the bike may have seen very little use since then. Maybe original miles. Gas tank is dent less and pristine. The side car bracket or knob is in place and healthy, rims are straight, chrome components could stand a re-chrome. Overall it is a very nice original bike, missing very little of it's original equipment, namely; turn signal lenses, mirrors, tool kit, seat, tire pump and seat. Carburetors look nice and are the original bings. This bike is a great resto candidate or something to just get running and drive. The title is free and clear, signed correctly so no last minute surprises on the paper work. I put an incorrect seat and pipes on it just to make it look like a complete bike.
