This has been a fantastic car. I bought it in 2010 with 120k miles on it from a guy in San Jose CA after having it closely inspected by a BMW specialist. It was clearly well maintained. Since then, I have used this as a daily driver (never track or street raced) and have not had a single problem. I have used Euro Auto Spot (check out their yelp rating) for maintenance. The car runs great and is an absolute blast to drive. Mechanics: No issues. The car has a new clutch, tires, shocks and struts (< 4000 miles on them). I am unaware of the vehicle being in any accident. Interior: The interior is in amazing shape for a 13 year old car. The stereo and speakers are stock and I have a DICE unit hooked up so you can play your phone through the stereo. Exterior: A number of nicks and scratches (see the pictures) as you might expect in a car of this mileage. Nothing major and the paint looks great. Weaknesses: The badges are pretty faded and a couple of the wheels are scuffed. The rear window is clear, but the stitching holding its zipper in place has started to come undone (still water tight as of our last rain) – the top is in great shape, so you may just want to get the stitching repaired or wait til it fails. The heat does not work (though AC is fine) – I had this quoted as a $600 repair at Euro Auto Spot but decided against it since I didn’t need the heat often here in San Diego. You are bidding on a great car (clean title) but please remember it is 13 years old. I’m only selling since we have another little one on the way and I need a more practical car.
