2003 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA TDi 5 speed manual transmission NON SMOKER and NO PETS since new Very clean vehicle that originated out of the Carolina's The upgrades that have been done to this car have been done professionally and with intentions to: increase fuel mileage, unleash the potential that the TDI's are capable of and gaining horsepower while still maintaining the reliability that the Volkswagen Diesels are known for. A Kerma TDI package was purchased and installed at around 125K miles. The basic summaries of the upgrades are as follows: Hybred 17/22 turbo chargerUpgraded injectors Upgraded lift pump from a 2004 Jetta (increased volume) EGR delete kit Complete exhaust with larger down pipe ECU- tune flash with hand held tuner/OBD2 code reader/ diagnostics South bent heavy duty clutch was installed at the same time to ensure it would keep up with upgrades5th gear was swapped with a taller one to ensure the higher MPG Free flow air intake system was installed to assist with more CFM flow right side inner fender was replaced with a A3 (has vent louvers increases flow to intercooler charger)2" professional drop with Koni's , camber and cast was set to accommodate the suspension upgrade.CD player upgrade with satellite radio display plug in/ USB and MP3 ( a control box was purchased to ensure that the steering wheel controls would still function) AMS oil extra by-pass filter system - extra oil filter protection and extra capacity AMS-oil only oil changes Front suspension was completely redone at 185K miles, all bushings and necessary items were replacedBillet aluminum Short throw shift kit new headliner installed in spring of 2013 (sunroof was left cracked during rain and lightly stained the old liner) Dual gauge pod on column and single on the pillarVW monster rubber mats just purchased lightly tinted windowsUpdated euro headlights with updated clear white beams and fog lights within the headlights, wired up as European standard with amber running light.timing belt , tensioner and water pump were done at the same time as upgrades Power everything, heated seats, mirrors, cruise , tilt column, leather covered steering wheel. Everything works, a/c blows cold. original VW wheels with like new Dunlop snow tires and 17" summer wheels with Michelin Pilot tires about 70% thread It does have a block heater and it does work This car is very fuel efficient , I averaged 50 mpg combined city/ hwy. with about 60% of the driving on freeway and have averaged 56-58 mpg on freeway, depending on you driving habits that may vary. It has been adult driven ( mature adult ) and well cared for. Clean seats and carpet the rear seating area was barely used. I would drive this car to California and back if I had too today without any reservation or worries. This is a genuine sale and I will regret the sale of my little German smoke scooter. I purchased this car off my friend which purchased it off the original owner at around 80K miles. It was his daily driver averaging 115 miles a day commuting. I have not had much time to drive it lately so hopefully someone else can enjoy it. Reserve will not be disclosed in order to make it fair to all that are bidding , Please do not ask. Bid according to what you feel the car is worth and please consider what it would cost to get a manual TDi into this stage.
