Here’s the story on this bike… In 1974 two brothers bought identical CB350F motorcycles from Western Hills Honda in Cincinnati. Shortly afterwards one brother wrecked his bike. The other brother (original owner of this bike) parked the bike in his garage in 1976 and it was not touched until 2013! The brother gifted the bike to his nephew in 2013 and the nephew sold it me. At the time, I was extremely skeptical regarding the mileage, but I believe it to be accurate for the following reasons… · Foot pegs and hand grips look new and do not appear to have been replaced · Tires are original and show no signs of wear · No signs that the speedometer cable was touched · Drive chain has next to no adjustment taken up · Factory paint marks are still on critical fasteners · Zero brake pad wear · It has the stock tool kit that has never been used. · Bike has not been molested at all! When I got the bike in August it was barn-fresh from 1976. I got the bike in great running condition. I have all the original parts and receipts. Here are the only things I did to the bike… · Cleaned out gas tank with Milkstone remover…no coating required, looks great. · Cleaned out carbs, no rebuild kit required! · Rebuilt fuel petcock · Rebuilt front brakes…done by Western Hills Honda! · Oil and filter change · Replaced turn signal flasher unit · New battery I have all the original parts. The bike now runs great! Starts right up and idles nice. Bike drives great and pulls strong. Absolutely everything works as it should. I put about 40 miles on the bike. I never titled it…borrowed license plate. I did not touch the cosmetics on the bike. Here is how the cosmetics stand… · Painted parts are in good shape…could use a good buffing · Instruments are great…no fading · Exhaust pipes are fair…light surface rust and seam split in the bottom of one · Rims are pitted…they should be replated · Rear shock top and upper fork cover have pitting and should be replated · Engine looks good but could use some polishing · Overall chrome is fair…could use a good buffing I have the clean title and copy of the original. Included is a period sissy bar and crash bar that I took off. Get a great deal on a great bike! With a little buffing and polishing you can have a real show winner. No reserve…bike will sell!
