Vehicle Detail
When I purchased this bike/sidecar combo I never had the intention of selling it. The bike is all original paint, hand pin stripes ... everything as it came from factory. It was dirty, barely ran and leaked oil everywhere BUT I saw past all that knowing what she could be. I spent many hours and money cleaning her up and getting the bike where it is today. I replaced and fixed what needed done but I did a lot of other work as preventive while things were apart. Here is a list of what was done in last two years, I am sure I will forget something but I'll try ... Rebuilt carburators Replaced all fuel lines Replaced pushrod seals Replaced head gaskets Replace main crank seal Replace oil pump o-ring Replace flywheel o-ring Replace clutch push rod cup Replace clutch pack Replace two valve cover studs Replace transmission seal Replace speedo cable seal Replace o-ring for air manifold Changed ALL fluids Adjust timing Adjust valves Replaced battery The bike runs very well, but I would replace the tires due to some weathering. They hold air and don't leak but they are not new! Other then the tires I would ride this bike anywhere/anytime. I would be happy to meet you or your mechanic to inspect the bike. I would also be very happy to help with anything as far as shipping but you would need to make any arrangments. This is NOT a concourse condition R60 but a VERY nice rider. ***Bike is listed local ... If the reserve price is not met and I have a local buyer this listing will be removed. If the reserve price is met the bike will sell via e-Bay*** ***Bike is sold "as is where is" - Inspections are very welcomed prior to auction ending or you placing a bid*** Here is video from 1/6/2014. Bike has not been run for 2-2.5 months, outside temps 16 degrees. I tickled the carbs and she fired and ran on third kick! Sorry for short video but battery was low and shut down my phone. The bang in background was me knocking over snow shovel. There are four castle nuts that attach the hack to the bike along with electrical plug. I also added a couple more pictures showing hack cover and also connecting points. http://youtu.be/jlGP5hCJcGc
