NICE UNRESTORED SOUTHERN V-8 TRUCK…. PERFECT TO MAKE A STREET ROD/CRUISER!!!! GREAT CANDIDATE FOR RESTORATION!!! OR DRIVE AS IS...IT LOOKS GOOD AND HAS GREAT PATINA!!! 1974 INTERNATIONAL WITH A (AMC) 401 V-8 AND 3 SPEED AUTO. TRUCK HAS THE 401 BECAUSE OF THE IH ENGINE PLANT STRIKE IN 1974. TRUCK CAME WITH TILT, CRUISE, POWER STEERING, POWER BRAKES AND A/C. IT STILL HAS THE BUILD SHEET ON BACK OF GLOVE BOX. (A/C AND CRUISE DO NOT WORK) Truck sold new at T.T.B. (Trucks, Trailers, and Buses) in Murray, Kentucky. It was special ordered for the dealership to use as a service truck. As you can see in photos, truck was well taken care of and the engine was serviced regularly at the dealership until it sold out and truck was sold off. It has been in storage for the last 12 years. Engine smokes very little, but leaks some oil. Looks like engine has never been rebuilt. TRUCK CAME WITH FACTORY DUAL EXHAUST AND FRONT DISC BRAKES !! Truck was suppose to be red and white, but a paint code mistake was made when ordered by the dealership and it arrived orange and white. It was driven by the same service man for 16 years. This 1974 International Truck has numbers matching motor (401 V-8) and 3 speed automatic transmission. The undercarriage is in good shape, surface rust only. The truck has been in Kentucky/Tennessee its whole life. This truck is an excellent candidate for a customized truck. Please ask any questions for more information and if needed, more pictures. This is a 39 year old truck that has never been restored. It has very solid original sheet metal with minimal rust. It does have minor scratches and a few dents. There is rust in both outer rockers, small hole in inside driver side pan and other places on truck, nothing major for its age. The bed has some rust areas along top edge of bed, nothing that cannot be fixed . The paint still has a very decent shine, and the truck is very straight. Comes with original owners manual and warranty information . Magnetic door signs are not included in auction. Inspections are welcome, just give me a call or email!
