1977 Corvette , number matching base motor L 48 with 4 speed trans and full options including: tilt/telescopic steering column, working a/c - blows cold , power windows , heated rear window defogger grid, luggage rack , aluminum optional rims. I drive this in summer daily and runs and drives fine with good brakes, handles well, exhaust system has new catalytic converter with direct fit oem style flowmaster mufflers, which give a slight above stock gurgle to exhaust note. This car was painted by the prior owner approx. 5 yrs ago, 2007-2008 OEM Atomic Orange corvette color. Looks good, is still in nice shape but still is not perfect , does have some flaws which include: small section of bubbling paint at RH rear edge of hood- pictured, touched up scratch in LH front fender near wheel lip- pictured , 3 raised hairlines under paint on pass fender above gill by wheel lip- pictured. Again, nice not high end show quality, if you require that level, you need to keep searching for a different car. Interior is original and in very good shape, not torn up, no dash cracks, door panels are good too. Frame and birdcage are unrusted, exhaust has slight leak when started cold which fades when full hot, was told possibly the heat riser. Recent parts include, new fuel pump, RH front caliper, pair of headlight vacuum selector valves. Headlights work perfectly with no vacuum leaks ands are fast up and down. All electricals are in working order including horn, flashers , signals, brake lights etc. Engine runs fine and has all original emissions and carb, warms up goes to slow idle and runs smooth. Trans is good, all gears shift fine, shifter is original and notchy with long throws but this is how they were built, clutch still good. Parking brake works. All gauges work except for the clock, and there is a previously installed CD player which is in working order with rear speakers in a separate unmounted box behing the seats , no holes were drilled , not bolted down. The odometer reads 63,300 and car is conditionally reflective of that mileage, but mileage can't be verified since this car is too old for a carfax report. This car will be sold "as is where is" no warranties, guarantees or promises whatsoever. It is sold as final sale , no refunds. It is currently reg'd and insured in CT and can be seen in person and test driven which is what I suggest. So please feel free to make and appointment to come see the car if you are close enough, or hire an inspection company to check it for you, since this is the best way to buy a car. This is a CT car older than 1981 therefore there is no title, and state of CT will NOT issue one, car will be sold with CT bill of sale. Make sure about your DMV laws and requirements from your own state, since I will not be responsible for them, burden is on the buyer so do your research first before bidding.
