My family and I live in the CA but frequent the snow and the AWD model was an absolute must for us, and boy was it worth it! Over the years I have been really impressed with the gas mileage (averaged about 25/mpg), awesome options (Nav, Hot Seats etc) and the AWD performance during our constant ski trips.
