Vehicle Detail

1969 Dodge Coronet 500, orig #s matching 1 owner car (I am 2nd owner), Fender and Dash tag match and in place, 318ci 2bbl, 727 column a/t, factory air, clock shows 24,556...dont know if its 24k or 124k but seeing as it was only on the road from 69-82 owned by an elderly couple its certainly possible its 24k but I have no way of proving it.....blue/green ext with black vinyl roof and black vinyl interior, bucket seats with head rests and center arm rest, 2 front seats need to be re-upholstered and dash pad has some heat cracks in it otherwise interior is in excellent condition, normal spots that you can see clearly in the pics....spots on bottom of qtrs, bottom of front fenders, outside rockers, spots in trunk....garaged since 1982....all there nothing missing....no broken glass, no missing trim, windows go up and down nicely, doors close nicely, trunk bars need to be reset....original jack in trunk....no original spare though and the right front rim is not original so the dish cap wont stay on it.....4 original dish caps are all there though......car runs good....shifts good but sounds like it needs a universal joint.....floors and rails are great because they apparently undercoated the car at some point.....I'll list what I know the car needs....A/C doesn't work but I did get the compressor to turn..... engine temp gauge doesn't seem to work but I'm sure that's a simple fix.....rear deck lid blower motor doesn't come on (for a/c) but i didn't really get involved in it because it wasn't a priority however all a/c vents and tubing are there and functional....front and rear radio speakers are not there but radio does turn on and light up.....needs a water pump, needs a new thermostat which will be included if I don't wind up doing it myself before hand....needs new rear shocks(they rotted off) which will also be included if I don't do it myself.....needs an original antenna which is also included which again I may do before it goes (old one the base is there but mast is snapped off).....the dash and front seats I already mentioned need to be recovered....will obviously need paint, tires, brakes, brake lines do not appear to be rotten anywhere but you may want to replace anyway....likely there will be seals and bushings etc that you may or may not need to replace.....vinyl top has few heat cracks in it but a new one is only about $175.......you can see in the pics any of the rot/cancer spots that need to be addressed....really nothing "major major" at all....car has a few dings and bings....one by left rear tail light....there's bondo on the right front fender and top of fender forward of antenna where two holes are which you can see in pics.....trunk has spots but again no gaping football size holes which you can see in the pics.....small spot behind rear window....here is a link to a video of the car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86VL933bKlE .......if I'm forgetting anything or you need to know something don't hesitate to ask....I have only had the vehicle about 3 months and have acquired another project that I'm more interested in which is why I'm selling ....I do have this vehicle for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time....Deposit of $500 will be do within 24hrs of the end of the auction and remainder of sale should be squared away in cash preferably at the time of the vehicles pickup. Shipping arrangements are up to you and the vehicle must be picked up within 7 days of the end of the auction. I do know some companies locally if you need help with shipping. Car can easily be driven onto a flatbed for transport but it is definitely not ready for a road trip just yet. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP IN THE 7 DAYS WITH THE REMAINING BALANCE, I KEEP THE DEPOSIT AND CAR GETS RE-LISTED.
