Vehicle Detail

Be sure to view the over 50 pictures below. Car has never been apart for restoration. 1 repaint in 1980. Sold new at Mission Chevrolet in L.A. County. Still resides in Southern California. No rust, bondo, dents or body work ever done to this car. Original paint on the interior as well as the original dash pad, 3 of the 4 door panels, rear seat and headliner. Runs and drives excellent. 1 of 1800 made with the 250 SS. Power drum brakes. Never restored; just maintained over the years. Original spare and jack still in the trunk. Comes with POP, owners manual and warranty book from the dealer. Both are in mint condition. Has all the original decals in the jambs, glove box and trunk. I have never found another 67 SS with a body like this. Not even one rust bubble anywhere. Garage stored since new. Early production car. Number 1776. Early production 67's had the rare hood emblem like this one and spinner hub caps. Delivery date was 11-66 as shown in the POP pictured below. I've owned the car about a year and have driven it all the way along the California coast on one trip and the car performed flawlessly. Body/Paint: Straight body. All original panels. Car has never been wrecked or apart. No bondo, patches or rust ever or anywhere. Car had one repaint over 30 years ago. No rust bubbles! Still has shine to it and presentable but, a little thin on top. Goes well with the over all survivor look of the car. Still has the rivets in the grill. Original weather stripping. All trim is original and in nice shape. Doors, hood and trunk open and close so very nice. Trunk is in amazing condition as well. Original spare and jack and of course no rust or patches. Pinch welds on the rockers are perfect and have never been damaged. Glass is all very nice. Interior: Interior is mostly original. The front seats, carpet and passenger side door panel have been replaced at one time. The other 3 door panels, dash pad, rear seat, arm rest, headliner, console, steering wheel and interior paint are original. Dash pad has no cracks in it and steering wheel is very nice as well. Under dash is extremely clean as evidenced by the picture I took. I have an aftermarket classic style radio in the original location with Ipod hookup but, the original radio is included. All windows roll up and down good. All electrical and lights work. Heat works nice too. Engine/Transmission/Rear: Engine compartment has the 250 6 inline backed by the factory powerglide and 10 bolt rear. Engine compartment has been detailed to a high level. Looks extremely nice with the original style tower clamps, battery cover, decals, insulation. Correct colors on the engine, engine compartment, latches and hinges. All new fluids. Power brakes and power steering. Converted to HEI for reliability. Suspension still has the original grease zirk fitting covers. I've never seen that on any other classic I've owned. Wipers are all hooked up and functional with original hose clips on the firewall! Cowl tag is present and in very nice shape. New front springs and shocks all the way around. New original style exhaust from the manifold all the way out the back is all new. Sounds so sweet and quiet. New BFgoodrich tires less than 500 miles ago. Original spinner hub caps. My only reason for selling the car is I want a new toy and need to move this one so, I have the garage space. I'm looking for a 55-56 chevy or 59-61 chevy. May be open to other trades. Feel free to email me and set up a viewing of the car so you can appreciate it in person. I can also deliver to any ports for shipping in the Southern California area. I have never ran across another 67 SS like this one. They are hard to find in original and never hot rodded or messed with condition. On Dec-13-13 at 21:39:30 PST, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention car has the original T3 headlights. Original blue paint showing through the bottom of the floors in areas. Original floor mats from Classic Industries. In the last year or two it has had a new fuel pump, starter, thermostat, alternator, exhaust manifold gasket, intake gasket. Leaks no oil and I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. It is my early morning car show car as it runs so sweet and never gives any issues. Also, I had the wrong original dealer in the description. It was sold at Mission Chevrolet as shown in the Protecto Plate, not Rancho on Reseda BLVD. in Reseda, California about 25 minutes from my house. The original dealer is unfortunately now closed. Reserve has been lowered and the car is very close to hitting reserve. To be fair to all involved parties that have been interested I will not end the auction early to sell outside of ebay. On Dec-13-13 at 21:49:04 PST, seller added the following information: Sorry, I typed that wrong again! It was Rancho Chevrolet not Mission. It was sold new to a lady by the name of Janet Dahlstrom and I believe she is still in the L.A. area but, has no interest in the car. Also, the front seats were not replaced, just the covers and carpet which were done before I bought the car. Once again no bondo, no rust and no accidents ever. This car has been painted over 30 years and still has no issues. This is not like a car that was painted 2-3 years ago and issues will pop up down the line. If this car is continued to be stored correctly in a nice dry garage it will never develop any rust. No bubbles, cracks or checking anywhere! The BFG's have about 500 miles on them if that. Bumpers are straight and all glass is nice. All the lights, electrical, heater, wipers work. These are some of the questions I have been repeatedly asked and just wanted to reiterate.
