1974 Volvo 164E Fuel Injected This Volvo has been stored indoor for over 15 years and of course a non-opp has been filed with California DMV and needs NOT to be smogged in California. Prior to restarting the engine, fuel tank was drained out and the fuel system was cleaned. Engine starts strong and transmission functions perfectly. As a precaution, most of the fuel lines were replaced. The mileage on the car is about 103,xxx. For those who are familiar with the older Volvo cars, this is just the beginning of it's life. Even though this car is in excellent condition, I still am offering it as-is due to it's age. It's optional to the new owner to do the full tune up, fluid replacement prior to daily use of the vehicle. This Volvo is completely original, no cosmetic or mechanical parts are missing. I replaced the wheels to one of the most elegant and classic wheels that Volvo ever made. However, four original rims and excellent hub-caps will be included with the car if you want it back to 100% original. Please look at the pictures and judge for yourself, it's unbelievable that a 40 year old car is so clean, original and un-molested. There is absolutely no rust on the car, the undercarriage looks like a one year old car. My mechanic believes that they paint is also original. Seats are also all original leather, door panels are all original and in new condition, headliner is perfect, dash has had a very small crack which was professionally repaired and is not even visible. Dash comes with a velvet cover as well. Please see the pictures for interior, windows are scratch and chip free, gauges are all working and the car comes with original manual and factory picture. Trunk is perfect with original cover (see picture.) Carpets are excellent thanks to the heavy duty original Volvo rubber floor mats, also included. There are some extra parts as seen in the picture that include the original rims and caps. The car has not been professionally detailed recently, so what you see is the current condition. This car is a 40 year old classic that has been stored for a long time so I tried to the best of my ability to describe the car and I also received professional advice from a mechanic to describe the car, but please read the description carefully and ask all your questions before you engage in a bid.
