1971 BMW 2800CS automatic, in silver with blue leather interior. PLEASE NOTE: I do not know much about BMW's of any vintage, I came by this car in a trade and I will try to describe it to my best ability but I do not have any experience with this particular model of car. The car appears to be reasonably solid, it needs a battery but it does start when hooked to a jump box and seems to run and drive with no major issues. It looks like a new exhaust has been fitted at some point and the car has lots of documentation of engine work being done when it had 19505 miles on the odometer (shows 28976 now.) The car comes with a complete set of extra wheels (see pictures) and extra sets of the factory keys. It appears to be very complete and would make a nice restoration candidate or possibly a donor car for another project. The paint is in poor shape, as is most of the interior trim (refer to pictures) but it does not appear to be missing anything. It has a factory tool kit and the trunk area is in good shape.The windshield is cracked but a decent used replacement is included with the car. The car has been in the Rocky Mountain area (Wyoming and Colorado) for over 20 years. The car is sold as-is and the buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. I accept PayPay (buyer pays fees), cash and cleared checks. A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours of the end of the auction.
