Vehicle Detail
One owner 2006 BMW 325i fixer upper, daily driver with highway miles of 175,000 miles, recently replaced engine with 87,000 miles worth $3610 (with receipt) plus installation labor of $1,500. I've spent another $900 to replace the VALVETRONIC motor on the replacement engine (with receipt from MORITZ BMW), I've spent $6,000 alone on the engine. Six speed automatic transmission, shifts good and smooth, no slippage. Black exterior paint still shines but has couple of small stone chips, barely seen. Minor door dings here and there, nothing major. Black leatherette has no rips and cracks all around EXCEPT the driver side bottom cushion: has crack on outer portion will be shown on pics, can be re-upholstered for $100 to $200 dollars. Radio/CD has AUX input and iPod hook up, it has an APPLE mini computer installed but has stopped working, don't know what's wrong. New window regulators on front driver and passenger side, all electronics work except the apple computer. It has a noisy A/C compressor bearing, it can be replaced in car, I have the bearing, I tried to replace it but I can't loosen up the 8mm bolt that holds the clutch, it probably needs an impact ratchet to loosen it, so I gave up. A/C bearing will be included on the sale. I thought I could replace the front windshield moulding on the top without removing the windshield itself but miserably FAILED and CRACKED the windshield instead so I gave up again, aftermarket windshield available for $250. Driver side cup holder is broken, I saw a new OEM cup holder on ebay for $60 but I don't wanna mess with it anymore, I might make things worst. Check engine light comes and goes, mechanic says probably one of the O2 sensors, I'm tired of spending money on it, so I'm just selling it and buy a newer model. Car runs and drives good other than those problems mentioned. The valvetronic motor replaced by MORITZ BMW is under 2 year warranty. I'm not sure if you can drive this home because of the noisy A/C compressor bearing, I don't know how long will it hold, if you know a shorter serpentine belt that bypasses the A/C then you can definitely drive it home. Selling it as is with no warranty expressed or implied, shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer, but i will cooperate fully for the pick up arrangement. I reserve the right to cancel the listing anytime because it is also listed locally. For questions email/txt/call me at 8175592426.
