There is no mistaken this car for anything other than the 454 big block ground pounder it is. You and everyone around you can feel the raw power of this car as it thunders by you. With the aftermarket suspension the car handles quite well. The 4 wheel disc brakes bring the car to a stop in short order. This is how all muscle cars should handle. The M21 Muncie close ratio 4 spd w/Hurst shifter makes driving this car way too much fun. The 12 bolt Posi rear w/4.10 gears try to put all that power to the ground but that’s really up to the driver and how good or bad they want to be!!! This car is a monster sure to put a smile on your face. Title Clean NJ title in my name. Body 1972 Chevelle Malibu VIN# 1D37H2R587837 1= Chevrolet D= Concours W/13637 Fisher body trim 37 = 2-door sport coupe H = 350cid V8 2-bbl (L65) Now has the 496ci Big Block 2 = 1972 R = Arlington, Texas 587837 = Sequential Production Number Body Panels Everything was done about 2 years ago New Fenders New Cowl hood New Trunk lid New Quarters New rear bumper New front bumper New SS grill New vinyl Roof with trim New fuel tank Frame is in great shape no rust or repairs Wheels Chip Foose Wheels Nitrous series 17x8 Fronts 18X10 Rears With Raptor ZR tires 90% tread left Front wheel has a small amount of curb rash (see pic) Paint Base coat Clear coat black with White SS stripes The paint has great shine and almost looks like a mirror I tried to take pics of the paint but it’s hard to capture the deep gloss this paint has. The paint is about 2 years old the car has been driven and has a few nicks on the front that have been touched up very well and are hard to see and even harder to get a pic of This car is a driver with better than driver quality paint it’s not a 1000 point show car and is not being sold as one. Not a frame off restoration and not a $35K car either. You can drive this car to the local shows and cruse nights and be very proud. Interior Everything has been done in the last 2 years with about 300 miles on it Custom SS Dash with a Full line up of Auto meter gauges JVC head unit W/ USB, HD Radio and is Sat ready Radio is Loud (it needs to be with the Big Block) I don’t have an antenna on the car I didn’t want to drill a hole in the fender I just use a small USB drive for the music. There is a antenna wire that runs to the trunk I was going to put an antenna in the trunk behind the back seat but just never did but the wire is there if you want to plug in an antenna. Sony 6X9 Speakers in the back Package shelf. Front bucket seats look good there is one spot on the driver’s seat that the stitching is coming apart on the seat bottom see pic and one rip on the passenger side seat see pic. The rear seat is original and is still holding up well no rips no cuts. Door panels are new Carpet is new Dash pad is new Blinkers work Headlights Work The heat has been blocked off. It looks cleaner under the hood the heater core and all the stuff under the dash is there if you wanted to hook it back up. there are no sun visors with this car. The Wiper motor quit and I just never replaced it. The wiring and switch are all there. Advance auto sell a motor for $70 or so (The car doesn’t go out in the rain) Horn doesn’t work Previous owner had tinted the rear windows and it’s about time they be done again. All new ARP studs and bolts throughout the engine (done right) The New MSD 6AL with the built it adjustable rev limiter just turn the dial (no Buying anything extra to adjust your limits) Never set above 4500 RPM. Still working on breaking in the engine New MSD blaster coil Full length headers New 3 inch stainless Exhaust. New stainless mufflers Brakes 4 wheel disc brake upgrade with all new master cylinder and all new stainless steel brake lines. The rear disc brakes do have the parking brake integrated into them. Front suspension New Disc brake setup SS brake lines W/new rubber lines New upper and lower tubular control arms --Suspension geometry is improved over stock by increasing camber gain and improving roll camber. These control arms are redesigned for better steering and suspension. --They utilize bleeding-edge manufacturing processes which include mandrel bends and precision cnc welding. --The highest quality DOM steel tubing has been used for their construction and have a chip and scratch resistant powdercoated finish. --They require no modification to the body or frame of your vehicle, they are complete bolt-in replacements --The upper control arms also utilize greaseable bushings which make for increased stiffness over stock to provide more consistent and precise handling.
