1969 Triumph Daytona

1969 T100R Triumph Daytona 500 w/ tasteful cafe mods, dual Amal carbs. Clear Wyoming title. Looks sharp, #'s match, comes with 3 great manuals. My earliest memory of this bike goes back to about 1981 when I remember my dad custom painting the tank and seat, we rode it quite a bit in the 80s and it always ran good and was way more cooperative mechanically than the other British bikes we had. I had it running and sounding really good last summer, but it sat alot this past summer and is rough at idle now, runs smoother with a little throttle: runs fine at mid and top so needs a little carb tuning. Goes through the gears fine. Valves recently adjusted, fresh oil and plugs, new battery eliminator to replace the aged mity max, new footpeg and shifter rubbers, new fork gaiters, new fork seals, new petcocks and fuel lines. Lights and gages work. Cafe mods: seat, k&n handlebars (superbike bend?), magura levers, trim front fender, grab on foam grips, k&n filters. Flaws: weld on right side pipe at muffler to extend muffler bell past kick starter 1 inch, weld repair at front of case where clutch cable enters, dent on right side headlight bracket, small ding on left side of rear fender, tires are age checked, light surface rust on chrome rims. $3000 price is firm, but I would sell bike with an original seat and correct green tank that are in fair condition for $2500 (see last 3 pictures).
