The restoration was started in 2001, and is 90% complete. Body and Frame - Body was taken off the frame, stripped and done in rust defender and painted original colors. Glass is all good except for crack in left rear door glass. All new rubber weather stripping. Chrome and Stainless - Chrome could be re-plated. Stainless is in very good to excellent condition. Interior - 90% original fabric that has been refurbished. Does need carpet and kick panels. All gauges work, including wipers and lights Engine - Unmolested original motor with nearly 55,000 miles (believed to be original). Could use gaskets and repaint. Transmission - Rebuilt approx. 1,500 miles ago. Car runs good and is very dependable. Wiring - All wiring is new and made to original. Fuel System - Tank has been cleaned and sealed. All fuel lines are stainless as original. Original Fuel pump has been rebuilt to accept todays fuel. Brakes - Lines are stainless as original. All cylinders are brass lined as is the power unit.
